BSc. (Kin), DC.

Born and raised in Rossland, BC, Dr. Eva Gifford was drawn back to work in the Kootenays through her love of the outdoors and desire to help others move well.  A University of Victoria graduate, Dr. Gifford spent her undergraduate years on Vancouver Island competing in triathlon and volunteering her time at the Pacific Institute for Sports Excellence.  Her volunteer experience includes helping coach the adapted strength and conditioning programs for the Canadian Wheelchair Ruby and Para-Rowing teams, as well as volunteering with the adapted S&C program.

Dr. Gifford completed her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the University of Western States, where she graduated magna cum laude.  During her time in Portland, she pursued additional training in a variety of techniques including soft tissue manipulation, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), performance taping, functional rehabilitation and movement assessment.

Pursuing a career in modern chiropractic has allowed Dr. Gifford to combine her performance geared mindset, love of the human body, and desire to help others to best serve the people of the West Kootenays.  As she is passionate about human-powered adventures in the mountains, when not in the office, you can catch Dr. Gifford running the trails with her dog, Skadi.
