CHIROPRACTIC CARE
- NEW PATIENT/ FULL EXAMINATION – $150
Full examination appointments are required for all new patients and all patients whose conditions have not been assessed and/or treated for over one year. This appointment type has time allotted for full assessment and the highest quality of diagnostics and care.
- RE-EXAMINATION – $140
These appointments include extra time to evaluate the state of an injury or condition that has not been seen or treated for 6 months up to one year. Here we assess changes, severity and create a new treatment plan to address the issue. This appointment type is also commonly used for current patients who have a new injury or condition that requires time for full evaluation and treatment.
- EXTENDED CARE APPOINTMENT – $130
Follow-up appointments that require extra treatment time to address complex issues, multiple treatment zones or very acute situations where extra treatment time is necessary.
- STANDARD CARE APPOINTMENT – $80
Follow-up appointments for regular routine chiropractic care.
PRENATAL CHIROPRACTIC CARE:
- PRENATAL INITIAL/FULL EXAMINATION – $150
A full examination appointment for pregnant individuals. This appointment type has time allotted for a full assessment and the highest quality of diagnostics and prenatal chiropractic care.
- PRENATAL FOLLOW-UP APPOINTMENT – $80
Follow-up appointments for prenatal patients. Prenatal extended care appointments are also available – $130.
PEDIATRIC CHIROPRACTIC CARE:
- PEDIATRIC INITIAL/FULL EXAMINATION – $150
A full examination appointment for pediatric patients. This appointment type has time allotted for a full assessment and the highest quality of diagnostics and pediatric chiropractic care.
- PEDIATRIC FOLLOW-UP APPOINTMENT – $80
Follow-up appointments for pediatric patients. Pediatric extended care appointments are also available – $130.
CUSTOM ORTHOTICS:
- ORTHOTIC LASER SCAN AND GAIT ANALYSIS – $80
Laser scanning technology is used to develop a custom 3-D digital mold of your feet. A full clinical foot evaluation, and biomechanical analysis of your gait is then used to determine the appropriate corrective requirements for your custom orthotics.
- PAIR OF CUSTOM ORTHOTICS – $575
Based on your evaluation, custom orthotics are built by our skilled partners at Peak Orthotics in Courtenay, BC.
- CUSTOM ORTHOTICS WITH FOOTWEAR – $750 -850 (dependant on footwear selection)
For those patients who specially require their orthotic corrections to be built into work boots or specific footwear.
ACUPUNCTURE
PRIVATE ACUPUNCTURE/ TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE:
Private acupuncture treatments are approximately 90 minutes in length and include optimal needle retention times as well as all TCM manual therapies as indicated for an individual’s condition (i.e. cupping, moxibustion, tuina massage, acupressure, guasha scraping etc). This combination ensures the best possible outcomes, treatment efficacy and longest lasting results with each visit.
- NEW PATIENT INITIAL ASSESSMENT AND ACUPUNCTURE TREATMENT SESSION (80-90 MINUTES) – $160
- PRIVATE ACUPUNCTURE/TCM TREATMENT FOLLOW-UP SESSION (80-90 MINUTES) – $140.
WELLNESS LAB COMMUNITY ACUPUNCTURE CLINIC:
Wellness Lab Community Acupuncture creates a powerful collective healing environment that involves being comfortably reclined in a relaxed and meditative group setting. Treatments are provided using effective points on the head, ears, arms and lower legs which means that undressing for the most part is not required (however comfortable stretchy clothing is recommended).
In certain situations where the primary concern is best treated in a lying position (either face up or face down), this can also be accommodated on a first come first serve basis due to limited availability (see below for additional cost). These situations may require removal of certain articles of clothing to expose the treatment zone which is carried out in a private, single patient setting.
The model of having multiple individuals participating simultaneously honours the classic Chinese Medicine tradition whilst boasting the benefit of increased affordability and availability. There are many conditions for which treatment frequency can be the most influential factor in the healing process, and these tend to pair fantastically with the Community Acupuncture model. Community Acupuncture is for everyone and is an incredible way to introduce and maintain optimal mental, emotional, and physical health and wellbeing through a delivery that is both attainable and approachable for all. All treatments are fulfilled within 45 – 60 minutes depending on the needs of the patient. Our goal is to inspire health and to make achieving and maintaining a higher level of well-being a reality for as many people as I can. Price adjustments and sliding scale accommodations can be made for all those in need.
