CLASS IV COLD LASER THERAPY
Laser therapy is a non-invasive technique that utilizes deep penetrating light waves to alleviate pain, reduce inflammation and accelerate recovery from a wide range of acute and chronic clinical conditions.
A Class IV Laser is the most powerful therapeutic laser available in a clinical setting. The increased power output from this level of laser allows for shorter and more effective treatment times. Most importantly however, it allows for treatment to reach much deeper penetration into the tissues (compared to a traditional Class II or Class III ‘cold’ laser or ultrasound therapy).
THE BENEFITS OF CLASS IV LASER THERAPY TREATMENTS INCLUDE:
Reduced inflammation, and decreased pain.
Accelerated tissue regeneration.
Decreased scar tissue and fibrosis.
Accelerated wound healing.
Minimized recovery time.
Completely non-invasive alternative.
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING THERAPY:
Effective laser treatments usually last only between 5 and 10 minutes depending on the condition being treated, and must be applied directly to exposed skin in order to achieve optimal light penetration. Typically, patients feel a mild soothing warmth as the therapy is administered. Most patients see results after 4-6 short treatments.
